Shrine, EA Mythic Art Test, 3D Low Poly

Moving a standard website portfolio to a blog format is both challenging and rewarding. On one hand you know that it is time to clean out the old for the new and on the other hand, realizing that, it is beneficial to hold onto some of the old. Sometimes it's because you learned from the experience, enjoyed the process and want to preserve a memory. This piece is an art test I worked on for EA Mythic in 2006 and after looking through my old portfolio have decided that it deserves preservation. It was a wonderful learning experience to have the chance at creating the piece. Without going into more back story, which I am sure will be boring to all, I will give some of the specifics behind the art. The piece was created in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. The overall time to completion was 36 hours.
